European Central Support Service regularly organizes various trainings for the
professional development of teachers. In March of this year, online
international development trainings on “Learning Spaces” (March 2-4) and “New
Challenges in Foreign Language Teaching” (March 24-26) were held. The main
purpose of the trainings was to study methods that serve to improve learning
spaces, to create a classroom environment adapted to learning styles, and the
impact of emerging trends on the learning environment of a foreign language. In
addition, the experience of creating edtech classrooms in a hybrid learning
environment was presented during the training. In the direction of professional
development, a total of 5 teachers from our country - teacher of Sumgayit
secondary school No. 39, project mentor Konul Mirzayeva, teacher of Tirjan
village secondary school of Ismayilli city, project mentor Khatira Malikova,
teacher of Baku lyceum No. 220 Khuraman Babayeva, Baku city No. 83 Aybaniz
Mammadova, a teacher of the school lyceum, and Shalala Mammadli, a teacher of
the secondary school No. 37 in Kalbajar, participated in the trainings.
Along with Azerbaijan, teachers from Austria, Turkey, Switzerland, Tunisia, Georgia, Albania, Italy and Greece took part in the workshops conducted by international education experts on creating supportive learning spaces in a project-based learning environment, and shared their personal experiences during group work. At the end of both trainings, teachers were awarded with international certificates.
