Every year, as part of the eTwinning project, the eTwinning School
competition is held among European educational institutions. The participating
schools are evaluated on the basis of ensuring the effective use of digital
technology and information security in the educational process, the
availability of innovative and creative approaches, sustainable professional
development of teachers and other criteria. As a result of the assessment in
the current academic year, 2,935 schools across Europe have been awarded the
International eTwinning School Award, 12 of which are Azerbaijani schools.
