eTwinning Plus Azerbaijan held the first Local Competition on October 1-30, 2018. The results of the competition were announced at the National Conference in Guba on November 14, 2018.

At the best cooperation competition on the topic of “Cultural Heritage”, projects were evaluated according to the following criteria:

·         Creativity/innovation;

·         Planning;

·         Curricular integration;

·         Technology involvement;

·         Influence on students.

The most important requisitions are the projects should have been created on October 1-30, 2018 and have international partners. Within the nominated projects, the project of Aliya Ahmadova, a physical education teacher at the secondary school # 1 in Sumgait, was selected the winner of the Local Competition. Mrs. Ahmadova was awarded in the National Conference in Guba by the manager of the project, Head of the Bureau on ICT for Education. The winner will be able to participate in onsite meetings in Europe in 2019 without any election. 

eTwinning gives opportunities for teachers to participate in different PDWs, Seminars, Thematic conferences which held in European countries. Since 2016, the Bureau on ICT for Education is designated as a partner Support Agency for eTwinning Plus in Azerbaijan.
