eTwinning Serbia in collaboration
with the Central Support Service, organized the Professional Development
Workshop for eTwinning Ambassadors in Belgrade, Serbia from 4 to 6 June 2018.
The aim of the Workshop was to
provide a range of knowledge and empower ambassadors to perform their tasks in
a better and more efficient way. Through the plenary sessions and workshops,
the PDW will contribute to the ambassadors fully understand the eTwinning
concepts, to become active ambassadors as well as to gain the professional
skills to become a better ambassador. The ambassadors will also have an
opportunity to network with their colleagues from different countries, improve
the collaboration, share good practices and develop ideas that they will
subsequently implement in their work.

than 160 delegates, coming from 37 countries including representatives of the
European commission, the executive agency and delegates from the countries
adhering to the eTwinning and eTwinning Plus actions, participated. Team from
Azerbaijan is represented by two AMbassadors – Natavan Badalova from the lyceum
named after Haydar ALiyev and Aliya Agayeva from Sumgayit Tafakkur Lyceum.
Overall, 244 schools 660 teachers involved in
eTwinning Plus in Azerbaijan. eTwinning gives opportunities for teachers to
participate in different PDWs, Seminars, Thematic conferences which held in
European countries. 104 teachers participated in 7084 online events in 2018.
Since 2016, the Bureau on ICT for Education is designated as a partner Support
Agency for eTwinning Plus in Azerbaijan.
