eTwinning Plus Azerbaijan is planning to host a Contact Seminar in Baku on 23-25 May 2018. The Seminar will last three days on the topic of “ICT in Education”. We will host 31 foreigners from 8 countries. Participating countries are France, Finland, Malta, Georgia, Bulgaria, Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Local teachers will also participate in the Seminar. The aim of the seminar is to increase cooperation between local and European teachers, enlarge the projects’ scope in the country and develop teachers’ knowledge and skills. There will be different workshops and training by local and foreign experts.

         Overall, 243 schools joint eTwinning in Azerbaijan. There are more than 700 projects realized by 657 Azerbaijan teachers in eTwinning portal. eTwinning teachers have lots of opportunities to participate in onsite trainings, conferences and professional development courses. These kind of onsite trainings are organized in one of the member countries and they usually last for 2-3 days. All costs of the trips are met by the budget of eTwinning grant project signed by the Bureau on ICT for Education. For the last six months 11 teachers participated in the onsite meetings by means of eTwinning.
