We are delighted to announce that 6 schools from Azerbaijan have been awarded the eTwinning School Label after a two-part application process. These awarded schools are pioneers and are recognized as leaders in areas such as, digital safety, esafety practice, innovative and creative approaches to pedagogy, promoting continuous professional development of staff and promoting collaborative learning practices with staff and students.

This is not only recognition of personal success of individual teachers but also an acknowledgment of the great achievement of the entire eTwinning team these school. The full list of awarded schools are as follows:

·         School-lyceum # 220, Baku

·         Baku European Lyceum

·         School #1, Sumgait

·         Tafakkur Lyceum, Sumgait

·         School #1, Ismailli

·         School # 5, Ismailli

The eTwinning School Label was introduced in 2017 to recognize and reward the involvement, commitment, and dedication of not only individual eTwinning teachers, but also teams of teachers and school leaders within the same school. The application process for the label began in December 2017 and closed in March 2018. Overall, 2600 schools applied for the label.
