From
December 23 to 25, 2024, a three-day regional conference was held in Shabran
within the framework of the “eTwinning” project. The conference was attended by
Parvin Agasiyev, Deputy Head of the Quba-Khachmaz Regional Education
Department, Natavan Badalova, a representative of the Bureau on İCT for
Education, project ambassadors, and 47 teachers from various regions of
Azerbaijan.
The
main purpose of the organized conference was to promote the application of ICT
in education, project-based learning, finding international partners, and
ensuring the development of the project in the regions for local teachers.
Additionally, the agenda included organizing various training sessions and
discussions to develop 21st-century skills for teachers.
During
the three-day conference, various training sessions and discussions were held
on topics such as successful project models, creating and planning projects on
the platform, and integrating project themes into the national curriculum.
Teachers
from 15 regions of Azerbaijan participated in the conference, which resulted in
the creation of 13 collaborative lesson models.
On
the final day of the event, the winner of the "Most Creative Project of
the Year" competition, held within the framework of the “eTwinning”
project, was also awarded. Ayten Kazimli, a teacher from Ismayilli City School
No. 1, was selected as the winner of this year’s competition on the theme of
“Global Citizenship Education.”
Additionally,
the results of the “Let’s Protect Our World” student competition were announced
on the last day of the event. The winning students will be awarded at next
year’s event.
