This year, the traditional
eTwinning conference was held in Brussels, the capital of the Kingdom of
Belgium. The main goal of the conference, organized for the first time since
the COVID-19 pandemic, was to present successful project models related to
teachers' involvement in the program and to discuss the integration of
project-based learning into the education system. On the first day of the
event, an award ceremony was held for projects that won the eTwinning Prize.
Around 150 teachers and
administrative staff from over 40 countries participated in the 3-day event.
The event was also live-streamed online to reach a larger audience.
The conference, dedicated to the theme "From
Classroom to Community: Equipping Teachers for Citizenship Education,"
introduced the annual theme to the attention of teachers, and training on
project planning related to the theme was conducted.
Ilaha Guliyeva, a teacher from Secondary School No.
71 in Baku, and Aida Alekberova, a teacher from Secondary School No. 1 in
Sumgait represented our country at the event.
