On April 27-29, 2023, an international conference for eTwinning ambassadors was organized in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal.

4 project ambassadors from Azerbaijan participated in the event where more than 100 project ambassadors from 31 European countries attended. Different trainings and panel discussions were organized due the implementation of activities on the activity plan of the project.

During the 3-day event, workshops  creating an environment aimed at providing learning on the basis of the joint work of students and teachers were organized.

It should be noted that currently 7 eTwinning ambassadors are active, and the project ambassadors are experienced etwinners who are selected  among the teachers in order to assist the teachers in the technical and pedagogical direction of the project, provide training for teachers, and assist the National Support Organization (NSO) in a number of activities of the project implementation plan. Project ambassadors are the people closest to NSO, who act as mediators between the project coordinator and teachers.
